Installed in a former textile factory from the 19th century, in the heart of the Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park, the Departmental Textile Museum bears witness to the wealth of know-how and industrial heritage of the Tarn. The museum's collections present the techniques of carded wool, from the transformation of the raw material to the finished product. The visit is animated by demonstrations of machines provided by the museum team and former workers who pass on all their passion for the trade. Temporary exhibitions and creative workshops complete the museum tour and inform the visitor about arts and textile techniques from around the world.
