PRECIOUS TESTIMONY OF HUMANITY The Mappa Mundi is one of the 77 leaves of a manuscript belonging to the chapter of the cathedral of Albi. This map, from the middle of the 8th century, served as an educational document in the library of the bishops and as a model for the scriptorium of Albi.
